Air Optix for Astigmatism

Air Optix for Astigmatism are monthly toric contact lenses manufactured by Alcon. These lenses can be worn for the whole month and offer consistent clarity and comfort from day 1 to 30. These lenses can be worn for up to 16 hours of wear, for 7 days a week. Air Optix for Astigmatism are appropriate for sleeping in for 1-2 nights per week; however, if you wish to do so, please remember to consult with your optician beforehand.

Air Optix for Astigmatism are made from a highly breathable material combined with TriComfort Technology in order to permit approximately 6 times more oxygen to pass through in comparison to other silicone hydrogel contact lenses. The amount of oxygen that is able to reach the surface of the eye determines lens comfort.

A further advantage of Air Optix for Astigmatism is the ability to retain moisture, allowing you to benefit from a soft, moist lens to help battle the symptoms of a dry eye. Air Optix for Astigmatism also contains SmartShield technology which helps to protect the lens from lipid deposits, increasing lens moisture and comfort for the wearer.
